Losing constraints after moving parts on different level
Hi,
I've open an ER when I was on NX 7, but now I'd like to share whit you if it's a time to reopen it again.
Normally, when we start a new project we put parts at the same level and constraints them. After coding, we create a sub-assembly structure. During this process we lose constraints after moving parts on different level.
I can understand for parts that go on different sub-assembly, but if part1 is related with 3 constraints to part2 and they go to sub-assembly1, why they lose constraints ?
SolidWorks that use the same technology doesn't have the problem.

Re-attach constraints with errors
Hi,
I'm not an only NX user, so there are solution in other CAD useful that I would like to be present to NX also.
This solution is already present on Draft feature.
The problem is when we need to reattach constraints with error where it's impossible to understand which face / sequences must be done to reattach well.
The case when parts are replaced. For example a pin with two 'center' constraints on a slot where one whit axis and other with faces. Or parts with two touch, one with axis and the other with face.
I would like that NX show 'previous faces' to understand better the previous state.
This will be a must into NX.

Balloon in drawing of parts from assembly
Hello.
I have an assembly. Then I create drawing for that assembly with part list and auto ballon.
Then I create next sheet and I this sheet I make drawing from one part of the assembly. In this drawing I create ballon and here is my problem. What I need to do to get a number this part from part list in this ballon automaticly (associatively) ?

How to import multitple bodies into unique part?
I´ve been dealing with customer that work withSolid Works and share files with me. I just open SLD files with "Open Document", but some sldprt have multiple bodies, NX transform these in strucure assembly naming files such as body_1, body_2, body_n. However when I open another file in another session of NX, the same file names are created by NX, therefore when I need to use these files at the same time I have a problem because NX do not open two files with the same name in different paths. Anybody knows how to open a multibody in a unique part? Or how to open files with same names in another path?
I need to do this because the customer send me files at different times.

I try to control the nr of a pattern feature using expressions formula, something like- if length is < or = to 300 the count nr = 3 if length is < = to 400 the count nr = 4 and so on.

Multi-level parts list - nested assemblies
Good morning all,
I attached three images showing example assembly structure in assembly navigator and a parts list. We're trying to use nested assemblies functionality in parts list to create multi-level / tooling parts list. (Select qty column, right click, settings, column, include nested assemblies)
Basically we would like to have single parts list that contains multiple quantity columns, each for a different assembly. It seems like "Nested Assemblies" functionality is just the thing, but we're not able to set it so that each qty column only lists quantities for selected assembly components, but not its sub-assembly components.
As you can see below "assy0" contains qty 1 of assy1, qty 2 of assy2, and qty 3 of assy3 - we would like to see only those quantities in the "QTY ASSY0" column. We can achieve that by selecting "Top Level Only" in "Edit Levels" of the parts list, but then we're missing the quantities for nested assemblies...
Is there a way to set "Top Level Only" for each column separately to get output like in the third image?

When I snap to a point on two different computers, one of them shows the point in blue and the other one shows it in yellow. Why is there such a difference?

Surface through curves - edge doesn`t match
Hello everybody, we`have created lines and splines with imported points for creating a surface. The inner and outer diameter lines are splines. Creating the surface is no problem, but when we zoom into the file, you can see that the edge of the spline and the edge of the surface doesn`t match together. Does anybody know why and can give as support! Attached you can find the part. Best regards! Frank

View break command on a section view
Hi,
I have a drawing having a view break command on a section view.
This view break makes the section line disappear on the main view with giving error like the below picture 1,
After hitting OK, these lines disappear like the below picture 2,
Is there a way to show the section line again?
