Aero Snap for Graphics Window (NX11)
Hi Experts!,
I am preparing a Training about Update NX9 to NX11.
There is a graphics window utility called Aero Snap but I am not able to understand how and what it is suppose I can do with this ....
Any idea or document that clarify text include in documentation of this training?
I attach text about it in doc for training:
Aero Snap for the graphics window
You can display the same part with different orientations and scales in multiple
graphics windows. You can use the Aero Snap feature to resize and arrange the
graphics window to a specific area in the NX window.
• To snap the graphics window to a quarter of the available area, drag it to
one of the four corners of the area.
• To snap the graphics window to half of the available area, drag it to the left or
right side of the area.
• To maximize the graphics window, drag it to the top of the area or double-click
the title bar of the window.
The Aero Snap feature is available for the Windows platform only. To
enable Aero Snap, turn off the mouse option Prevent windows from
being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen
on your Windows operating system.

MATERIAL attribute from NX7.5 file not reflecting in NX10 Attributes
Hello All,
I have a NX7.5 CAD file which is having MATERIAL attribute defined and now I am opening same file in NX10 CAD tool.
But MATERIAL attribute is not getting displayed on Object properties page.
Kindly help me to understand how to map MATERIAL attribute in NX10. Other Attribtes from NX7.5 are getting populating properly in NX10.

Ellipse on NX11 Drafting
Hi All,
I am trying to do a proper ellipse callout using NX11 Drafting as shown...I used the ellipse feature in the sketch, but the ellipse callout is tricky in the drafting.
So I am wondering how to do a radius callout that also shows its center.

ERROR OPENING PRT FILE
Hello all,
One of my user is facing an issue regarding .prt file opening whenever he tries to open hes getting a meesage
so what should we do in this case because when i tried to open in my pc its opening without any issue and another issue is he created some parts last month and when he is trying to open the same issue hes getting.
and also i tried this using cmd nx tools to inspect even that is not working either
Any suggestions!!

Corners in Routing Mechanical
Hi, I've been using NX since some months. I can't apply miter on corners with three lines connected, another thing is extend the stock or profile to end of other stock, however, I need that stock 1 overlap stock 2. Somebody know how to do these?

o Use the 'Find Component command', search 'By Attribute' using the 'LW_DWG_GEOMETRY_OMITTED' name, the '!=' criteria
and a blank Value to select all problematic components in the assembly navigator.

I've Set the Automatic LightweightGenerationcustomer default, but I don't have license for Assembly Representation command.
I need to use the refile command or I've a interactive solution ?

Populating title block with Material and Weight
This has been an ongoing battle, since I started with my current employer.
We use NX in a master model system, with Teamcenter. Yesterdays thread on the Material attribute changes in NX 10, caused me to revisit out drawing formats, hoping to resolve it.
I edited one of our drawing formats, adding the attributes:
DB_DWG_TEMPLATE_NX_Material
DB_DWG_TEMPLATE_NX_Weight
I then edited the title block, to look at these attributes. Both show as expected in the template:
Next I created a new model file, and assigned a material. Saved the part. Started a new drawing, using the format I edited, and the Material and Weight are blank.
I know NX_Material and NX_Weight are considered system attributes, so I can't see them in the file properties. How can I see if they are actually being created? with the previous "Material" attribute, Teamcenter is set to control it, in the attribute mappings file. Could this still be the issue?
Other thoughts?

Copy drawing sheet into the similar part
Hello
I have some parts with similar geometry (i made them by copying one part and changing some dimensions after that). Then i made a drawing sheet for one of them with views, full description and annotations. How can i transfer this drawing sheet to another part with views' dependency changing?
When i use copy/paste command for the sheet i get the only linked one.
Is there any solytion of my problem or the only way is to make drawings before copying the part?

Arrangement NX10
Hi Experts!
I want to show in a training how to define an arrangement through Move component and detection collision.
I do not know how to get component moving stops exacly when collision is detected.
Have I to change to Arrangements Apply to Used in Settings in Move Component Box?
What is the difference between Highlight Collision and Stop Before Collision in Collisin Detection in Move Component Box?
And ...how I have to apply this Move Component command in order to get the movement exact that can the components move and avoid collision with rest of Components in Assembly and in order to save in an Arrangement?

NX Routing mechanical change in stock diameter
Hello,
Does anyone know if it is possible to change stock diameter of the routing with automatic changing in diameters of all fitting objects? For example, once you created the routing consists of pipes, elbows and tees having same diameter 150mm, when you change stock diameter to 200mm all elbows and tees for this routing would change their diameters as well to 200mm.

I wanted to create a journal file in which , if I have a sketch already made all the others commands which are identical for my daily work could be able to execute .. the only thing changes is the shape of my basic sketch that also not too much ...
Is this action possible with NX Journal ??

ID balloon add colour infill
Hi
I have a requirement from production to highlight the fixing method of certain components by having a colour infill or background to an ID balloon on the assembly drawing.
I know there are many more sophisticated methods of doing this with PMI etc. but this is an easy initial win with our current practices.
I have attached a PDF example that uses symbols positioned over the balloons. This would be fine but they don't align associatively very well when you repositin the ID balloons.

Reuse Library Assembly Clone
Hello,
I've put an assembly which consists of parts and subassemblies under Reuse Library and made a KRX file of the top assembly.
When I try to clone it, the parts and assemblies are made unique but the parts under the subassemblies are still referenced to the library parts.
I would like to make a a completely unique clone that is stand alone from the original file.
I'm new to NX and would appreciate guidance.
