Drawing borders intersection area invisible ?

When I place 2(two) isometric fully shaded parts close together the area which intersects them turns to invisible when .PDF in "printed". Why ? Treatment to it ?

NX 10 broke over the Christmas break
So I went home Wednesday 12/21/16 having used NX10 all day, everything was great. Go to start it up today and I'm greeted with this message. The File is there, however, somehow an extra \ was added. Anyone know how to get rid of it? Don't want to uninstall and reinstall for one stupid \.

NX drawing templates
Hi,
Can anyone suggest how can we use NX9 drawing templates and customer defaults for NX7.5
Background,
For one of our customer we have customized drawing templates and customer defaults like visible lines, dimension text color, height and so on... These settings are carried out for NX9.
Now we have received one project, where we have to execute it in NX 7.5.
Hence I was planning to use the same settings which are carried out in NX9.

Is there a way to release an item from within NX?
Running NX 10.0.3 MP11 with Teamcenter 10.1.7 and I want to release an item revision from within NX.
This would simplify saving to a new revision, if the active revision limit is reached.
I have checked if there is something in the customer defaults, but found nothing.

Mass atribute in Parts List in NX drafting
Hi everyone!
I hope there is maybe someone who is able to help me with my problem. When i try to do part list of assembly and try to put mass atribute to the table it doesn't work. Only one cell is full with name 'mass' but the weight of components doesnt apear. Someone is able to help me with that?

It's been a while since I've seen the option "Make Datums External" after right-clicking a Sketch feature...
Didn't have time to post about it for a while, so I don't remember since when it's missing.... I'm using NX11.0.0.33

Wrong mass units in Part list in Drafting

When I insert mass in part list, values appears in grams but should in kg, because the file units are set to kg. Someone is able to help me ?

THREAD COLOR
Is there a way to see threaded holes or cilinders in a different color or texture that the rest of the part?
I don't mean the detailed thread feature where you see the actual treads but instead just the simbolic feature in a different color. I know how to do it manually after creating the threaded hole or cilinder by assigning color to the feature but I would like NX to do it automatically for all threaded features.

NX10.0 Motion Simulation Curve on Curve Constraints
Hi all,
I am currently designing an over head camshaft with the relevant rocker arms. I have used curve on curve constraint within motion simulation to follow the profile of the camshaft once an acceleration has been applied - this works correct in animation. however, once I try to apply two rocker arms and another curve on curve constraint, the solver locks up with the error message "RecurDyn Solver Lockup" and
Error No.1108506 <Simulation> : Solver processing failed. (refer to the *.msg file)
Has anyone came across this before or has any knowledge on how to correct it?
Any guidance would be appreciated

Simulation is working in NX 10 and it is not working in NX11
Hello Together,
I built a motion simulation for an assembly which was working fine in NX 10. After migrating from NX 10 to NX 11, the same assembly is not working.
Error message: "RecurDyn Solver Lockup" (This message comes if there are any redundant constraints)
I have found that while giving joints I have put one un necessary joint. Even though it was working the same in NX10. (Gruebler count for the assembly is not zero in my case.)
I just need to know why it was working in NX 10 and not NX 11. I know the solution for the same i.e. deleting the unnecessary joint and making gruebler count zero. But we need reason for the cause

Deviation Gauge tool: how are distances evaluated?
Hi,
I'm working a lot with the "Deviation Gauge" tool of the reverse engineering toolbox lately, to obtain deviation data between STLs and CAD surfaces.
While I have no particular problem in using this tool, I need to know some additional information about how the tool works and on the effect of the parameter that can be set in the GUI or by using the NXopen library.
I couldn't find the information that i need anywhere..
1) How does the deviations are evaluated? I mean, what kind of algorithm is used to find the closest point on the selected surfaces?
2) How do exactly work the "Spatial resolution" "Measurement Samples" parameters that I can set in the nxopen library for the deviation gauge tool? (https://docs.plm.automation.siemens.com/data_services/resources/nx/10/nx_api/en_US/custom/open_c++_ref/a03890.html)
I understand the general effect of the parameters, but I can't find an accurate description of how these parameters are used.
