Hole Table Error in Large Assembly
Hi,
I'm expereinceing a problem that I haven't seen anyone cover yet. I'm using NX12.0.0.27.
I have a large assembly of a couple die blocks and the associated parts. I'm creating multiple prints in this assembly of each individual part. I have two very large die blocks with many holes of all diffrents kinds (though holes, counterbored holes, threaded holes, combo holes, etc.) As such I'd love to use the hole table to automate the process of locating these holes in the print. Normally I would start with the part below:

Similar NX function to Catia slot function for seal grooves
Hello every one,
I'm new here and also to NX. Preciously I used Catia and am now trying to move to NX...

Bulk rename items
Hi All,
I'm looking for the easiest/best way to rename multiple items in NX/Teamcenter. We have around 1500-2000 items in teamcenter that were not created using a part family, and I wan't to recreate these items using a new part family template I have created. Obviously, I can't create new items with the same name as an existing item, so I would like to rename the old items to something like "old_12345" so I can then create the new item 12345 from the part family.
Any advice on how I would go about this?

Custom Name in "File New"
Hello to All.
I´m adding some Personal Templates in NX, but I would also like to have the Names that are "displayed" in the "File New" window to be according to what I want to show.
I have no problem on adding the New Templates and adding them to the .pax file so that it can show on the "File New" window.
What I want to do, is that the name displayed in the "File New" window, can be according to what I need.
For example, currently, when I do a new "model" file, I get the name "model1.prt", but I would like to customize this.
I know that in "customers Defaults" we have the option, but I wanted to have different "name configurations" for each personal template I create.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible to do?
Probably some configuration that we might add to the .pax file?
All comments and suggestions will be very appreciated...

Printer Environmental Variables

I searched the ugii_env_ug file for the UGII_SDI_OVERRIDE_HOME variable and nothing comes up.
Is this variable needed? Will printing work without it? I'm just not sure becasue teh NX help description of it doesn't really give me details.

Workable Word documents
Hello,
I created a clearance protocol in NX, which has to be filled in during every inspection of the machine. Now I'm the only one at the office working with NX, whilst there are multiple people doing inspections on machines. So one of my colleagues asked if it's possible to convert the NX document into a workable Word-document so everyone can use the document to fill it in in Word, instead of just me in NX.
Is there anything alike in NX? Or do I have to create a new Word document and do it all by hand?

Copying Assembly
I am attemptin to copy an assembly using a how-to video I found on youtube, however, when I attempt to copy it over there is a littany of error messages that I recieve. The errors are all in reference to features that were from when the parts were created, and when I paste the item, it looks nothing like the original assembly. Feel Free to ask more questions. How do I know what faces I used to create features like shell, fillet, convert to sheet metal, etc?
It obviously highlights sometimes, but if it is a complicated part, I do not know where or what it is highlighting. Does NX explicitly say what faces we select when a feature tells us to 'select face' or even how to optimize highlighting a face?
If I have to modify another designer's part, it can get pretty confusing at how we can modify features if they don't tell us what we originally selected. How would you guys do it?
