Dear All, Recently I'm making a Drafting sheet of a object which has been designed using "Through Curve mesh" . When Drafting such object and creating section views, it create silhoutte lines(please correct if spellings are incorrect)/splines which is really disturbing when putting dimensions. Can't it be like other solid models? or is it a issue with my design methodology.
I need help to solve this issue.

I'm running into an issue when trying to import 3D-scan data. I have the point cloud data in .stl format. When I choose File-->Import-->STL and pick the file, I get the error message "File is corrupt, facet count is zero.". Yes, I know, it is a point cloud... So - how do I import this data? Spent too much time googling without finding any answers, that's why I'm asking you. The only workaround I've found so far is importing point cloud in Catia, save as STL and voilà, it opens in NX (because Catia has created facets).

Hello, Can someone please tell me what this feature is and how to get rid of it? I've done ordinate dimensions for a few years and all of a sudden this feature is showing up. I was able to remove it from one drawing. I tried the same steps to remove this in another drawing, but I can't get rid of it now. What would cause this to even show up in the first place. Again, I've done ordinate dimensioning for a few years and never saw it. Thanks
Hello, I created a detail view in a new drawing and noticed that there was not a circle/boundary around the new view. I checked throughout the preferences and tried different things, but could not get the bounary to show up. I eventually gave up. Today, I created a new drawing and a new detail view. This time, the circle/boundary showed up. Is there a setting that controls the visibility of this boundary - and why would it not show up at times and then all of a suddens show up? Thanks

I am strugling to find a way how to return an group of command named "Display" to original place as it is showed on the image bellow. The reason why I missed somewhere is because I have tried to move (drag and drop) it on the ribbon but somehow I dropped it on the window and it is just dissapeared. I have tried to find some of it's command by 'command finder' but it shows that command is hiden.
How to reset it's location to Menu>Analysis>Display?

This is happening in my laptop only on NX11..prior to NX11 ...10,9 everything was good
If I launch nx and if i try to minimize it minimizes but if i'm inisde any environment like modeling drafting ..when i click minimize it stucks and nothing respsonds like commands i cant even select..after 10-15 sec then it starts working..
Any suggestions??

I am not succeeding in Customizing some Hole Callouts in the Hole Table
First I have first created a General Hole:
2Nd I have created a NPT Threaded Hole, Concentric to the First
Creating a Dawing gives me in a Sction View these Dimensions:
Adding a Hole Table gives me these results:
I do not succeed, in having the Depth of the Hole Diam. 6 corrected to another value. Threaded Hole is Fine.
Depth of the Hole Diam. 6via the Hole Table functions is giving me T13.66, wile I would like to see 35, as in the Hole definition.
Is this possible and if so how.

I am having trouble placing dimensions on a drafting document that I can position as I wish. They all seem to have a very limited scope of repositioning them. For instance a radius dimension only goes around in a circle and I can't drag it out further.
