Popular topic, and I've touched on it a few times in the past, and need to revisit it.
In my model seed file, I created a cube, and applied a material, so that MassPropWeight would be created. Then I created the attribute DB_DWG_TEMPLATE_MassPropWeight, and added it to the Attribute Template. ON my drawing, I populated the weight block of the title block with the appropriate attribute, but things aren't happy.
Looking for thoughts.

Anybody knows why the associative icon in the Insert -> Curve -> Lines and Arcs -> Associative icon is grayed out?
When I try to create a new line point-point with the above command the associative icon is grayed out and the line is always associative. If I need to remove the associativity I need to go to edit -> feature -> remove parameters. Very anoying.

I'm wondering if anyone could help us with following situation:
We have got an assembly prepared with an PTS template for easy re-use when dragging in from the ReUse library.
In the PTS template of the assembly, we have got the option "Enable Copy/Clone on drag and drop" set to "true".
Anyway we want specific components of that assembly to be cloned and other should "retain" the same, when dragging in and cloning the assembly.
We have tried to use the part attribute PTS_CLONE set to the value "false" at those components, which should retain.
But anyway the assembly and all components (except the family member parts) get cloned during the drag in from the ReUse library.
Does anyone have got an idea or solution to that problem?

I have to accurately model a ball endmill with spiral flutes and the correct primary and secondary cutting edges. Does anybody know of some NX wizard or program that can generate this?

When the information window is the active window and you hit escape the information window closes and erases all information in the window.
This was not the behavior in NX9, don't know about NX10 and is now the behavior in NX11.
This has been frustrating for our users. For example, when using Measure Distance (with Show Information Window checked on) and hit escape on the keyboard it kills the information window because it is active. And if you open the information window again (Control-Shift-S) all the information is gone.
I am guessing this is intended behavior. I guess I just want to throw it out to other users and ask if this is an issue at all?
Can we at least keep the information in the window (even when it is closed) and have an option to clear it out? We have programs that are writing to the information window and would like that information available in their current session. Now if they have the information window active and hit escape they have lost all of that info.

After that, I would like to translate all trimmed lines to an horizontal line which length will be equal to the length of earily used path (spline).

Is it possible to edit a mechanical routing path once it is created? I often have to design a lot of tube routings and since the design is immature, the routing path often changes. But in order to mate to the new part, it seems like I have to create an entirely point set and then create a new routing path through those points. Is that correct or is there an edit option that I'm not seeing?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and NX11, I've just moved from Solidwork to NX. I got a problem when I used "Project Curve" to project a round edge of a revolved object and then use "Trim recipe curve" to trim off the outside project curve. But I couldn't do it. I've tried many times but the sections that I want to discard and keep always change place together. Could anyone here help me resolve this problem?

I am having some trouble choosing the rendering style for views in my drawing. The option for 'partially shaded' is exactly the same as 'wireframe', showing all the lines that shouldn't be visible from that view. Also, the 'fully shaded' option works correctly for most of the part, except on one edge there is a gradient back into the 'wireframe' kind of display. Has anyone experienced this?
