Hello All,
I tried exporting NX sheet to .dwg file. I faced few conversion error in it.
1. If the dimension present in the sheet is cylindrical dimension it gets converted as BLOCK Reference in a .dwg file.
2. If dimension text is overwritten the overwritten text in .dwg file comes in a wrong manner.
3. The conversion works successfully only when the dimension is set as a vertical or a horizontal dimension.
Please let me know if you have any solution to it.

As we look at the move to NX11, I want to also address some Tc/NX integration issues, one being to get the attribute MATERIAL to be controlled by NX, instead of Tc, so we can populate the drawing title block with it. Since that will involve some TC admin work, I'd like to populate the drawing title block with some other things, such as the creators name, and the creation date.
I suspect there is already some attribute in Tc for these, since they diplay in the summary window, and I would have to have these mapped to pass thru to NX?
Is there a list of what is available in Tc, that we could map to NX?
Hello all, I am using NX10, still very new to it so with that said, I'm sorry if this question dumb.
Our company paid for the Catia Translators, when I open a .cat or a .catproduct file it works just fine, but when I try and open a file with the ext. .model it won't open up and gives me a license error. From what I have gathered and I may be wrong but the .model files are made in older catia versions (V4) ?
I've also tried the Catia V4 to NX Import and still getting an error. Here are some pictures of what I am receiving when I try to open these. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I experienced a really annoying bug a few times already.
Does anybody of you know this bug as well?
What is the reason for that behavior?
I work with assemblies, components and links. I want to modify a sketch, e.g. a dimension. Then I want to leave the sketch by pressing the "Finish Sketch" button. In this moment I just see that my dimension modified turns back to its old value and I am still in the sketch.
I have to press "Finish Sketch" a few times to make NG leave the sketch. My Dimension has still the old value.
I really have to leave NG completely, closing all my parts and restatring everything again,
After that I can modify my sketch and also "Finish Sketch" button works properly.

I am not able to update weight of entire assembly in properities tab. I update data on save etc. but it isn't work. There is 2 parts in assembly ant total weight should be 73 kg but in properties of assembly it shows 0. Anyone who is able to help me?

A user asked about this, and as I've never done anything with mirroring...
They have an assembly (40 parts) that is "right hand"
Now they want to make a "left hand" version of the assembly, but only 10 parts need to be mirrored (the rest are things like bolts).
Options I thought of:
- mirror assembly
- WAVE link (or extract body) "Mirror body"
Any others?

Wen I try to wrap the sketch to a face, which follows spiral curve projected from a helix, I get an alert message. As the picture indicates, the projection (wrap) is not complete. Can someone explain why this is happening, please?
And to the experts: Is there another way to achieve a result?
FYI: I am using NX10 and have a lot of parameters to produce variants in the end.

I have created some part list templates in Teamcenter (one for assembly drawings and another for piece drawings). I have created them in drafting environment and saved them as templates creating a new item in the BDD. But now, I don't know how to use them. In native mode I had a palete pointed to an .pax file that had the links to all part list I needed. How can I solve the problem in NX manager (with TC). Thank you
Ok so now it's all coming back to me how cumbersome the NX implementation of functions really is compared to mid-rage modelers like Solid Edge. Yes I know how much more powerful NX is than SE but seriously the amount of clicks and dialogs and searching for commands is crazy for the price of this beast. High cost should mean much more efficient, not the most complicated run around means of getting there. Rant over.
So I have a customer file opened that has parts in an assembly as well as parts modeled in the file. I simply want to measure "distance between object sets" (in this case two faces) to find the minimum distance between an assembly part and a model part. As soon as the "distance between object sets" type is selected the selection scope reverts to "work within part and components". Why?

I placed multiple holes in one sketch and seems they are assosiative ?
- Why ? I had no measures inputted and no constraints and they still moved assosiative when I started placing the real measures ? Like I placed a measurement and suddenly all other holes moved a bit even the ones I had hand placed to a correct place.

I have an assembly which had all models/parts fixed. Using Fix constraint.
We have moved NX85 to NX10 recently. We have three teamcenter sites A,B,C. After the NX10 upgrade, everytime while we try to load nx data from Teamcenter Site A (replicated data of Site C) to NX10, it asks to "select the template'' for all levels of assembly/child components instead of automatically loading the components with the default template how it was saved earlier in NX85. If we proceed selecting "model/assembly" templates, data not loaded correctly. Same issue when we cancel to choose "model/assembly" templates.
Is there any load options need to be set to make it default behaviour for all nx10 users?
is there any old compatibility settings need to be set in NX10 to make it default behaviour for all NX10 users?
Did we miss some settings to be changed after NX10 is upgraded?
