Hey all,
When I am drafting in NX10 and taking a print of the sheet, I am unable to see the line weights I used on the drafting sheet in NX on the hardcopy.
Please could anyone help me know what needs to be fixed?

Defined Margins in Ordinate Dimensions
When creating ordinate dimensions, I am getting the message to set defined margins. No matter where I select for these margins it never works. I have watched about a dozen videos on Youtube and everyone seems to be able to skip this step and never gets the message. I want Baseline and Perpendicular dimensions. It wants a margin for each, but the dialog seems to only ask for one margin. I am not even sure what these margins even are really.

Tag drawing title block scale to: N/A ?
Hello
Why must I put a scale to a drawing like 1/2, 1/5 why can't I just write N/A because I have lots of different scales at the same time on a drawing ?
- I never use the real scale(mentioned on title block) on all base views so I want the title block to say SCALE: N/A. So no one makes the mistake believing the drawing is as the scale says.
- The Scale seems to be always visible on the company template so I can't remove it. Just make it say N/A.

Bend annotations 4x pcs in to one easily ?
Hi
Someone else made this drawing and had different default preferences.
It has 4x pcs of bend annotations.
I have by default only one arrow and 3x pcs annotations.
But the "NX remembers" the previous users defaults and always places all 4x pcs on a updated Flat-Pattern Sheet metal and I have to manually go through every one of them to turn them look like my default ones look like.
- Is there a easier solution to force NX to my default sheet annotation preferences and forget earlier users default somehow stored to the .PRT file itself ?

Show Stage in Advance Studio - Animate
Is there a reason that Show Stage keeps turning off while generating animations? I can't seem to generate an animation with shadow/reflection. I am using the FrameNumber expression to control components in an animated assembly.

NX11 connect cage does not select edges
hi,
I am using the new NX11 commands for Realize Shape, really cool; a little doubt: in the 'Connect Cage' command, I cannot select edges of an existing body as reference edge for the cage, only curves; filters are ok and the cue line below actually hints "select curve or face edges", but only curves are selected; is it an enhancement still in progress?

Adding functionality to the part navigator (Bookmark a feature)
Hi All,
Is there a bookmark available for the part navigatore? it will be really nice to be able to bookmark a feature so that one can remember to roll back to that location when needed.
Does this exist or can we offer this new sugestion for a future release?

Can't delete face on model ?

Any idea what is this "face". I tried modeling->delete face but error came:
"Delete failed...remaining faces cannot close the area left after deleting...Neighbor is self-intersecting"

I've imported points from file, now what?
Hello all,
My name is John I work in the Trenton Facility of Siemens in the drafting department. We are slowly getting into NX and some of us have just upgraded from NX9 to NX10. We have many point files as .txt of turbine vanes in a folder we are looking to create them as profiles and solids in NX. Each point file has a few dozen points, Studio spline command might be a little tedious for us converting all of these.
However I cannot find any other way to take points and make them into a series of tangent curves and then create a face or a solid. Fit Curve is the best thing I have found so far that can do this select-connect-the-dots quickly but the vane profile is more of a wavy spline then it is a series of nice curves.
Attached is our vane profile in points we would like to be converted to a profile.
Is there any easy way of doing this without clicking every single point?
