This is a simple question (I think). I created a feature group in the model history but now want to ungroup those features. There doesn't appear to be an "ungroup" command. So how do I do this? Just double click the feature group and move the features out of group?
One other question. In the Feature Group dialog I noticed "embed feature group members" is checked. What does that mean? Just curious.

Are you able to choose which IDF file dataset type is exported? IDFs are typically .emn/.emp, .brd/.lib, .brd/.pro, .bdf/.ldf, and .idb/.idl. I am only able to export .brd/.pro using PCB Exchange NX 11. I would like to use .emn/.emp.
So regardless of which library is being used, one can set filters for materials. I have a list of materials with material names similar to as follows:
Assigned_Material_01, Assigned_Material_02, Assigned_Material_03....all the way to Assigned_Material_100.
How can I set up a filter to only view Assigned_Material_01 through and including Assigned_Material_10? Using only the numbers isn't an option, as there are other material names that contain numbers that won't be filtered out.

What is the most rapid and precise method to create a cylinder or curved surface taking points from a stl file? I mean the stl file is a scanned part that contains holes and i would like to create cilinders or surfaces matching those holes by selecting the points of the facet "surface". I can do that by creating arcs and projet them to planes and then extrude but maybe is a quicker/better method.
I installed a new license file a few weeks ago. Today (1st of march) some of the programs won't run.
I checked the license file (that I installed a few weeks ago) and it shows everything expiring 30-sep-2019 However, if I query a feature from lmtools, I get two messages one saying it expires 28-feb-2019 and one saying 30-sep-2019. I get this for any feature.
The Composite ID is the same as always. I did upgrade a few weeks ago to support NX 13 (or whatever it is called)
Any idea what is going on?

Basic Curves should be like Ungroup curves should not sit in `Non-timestamp Geometry',
I am working with the Section curves (Which is automatically created by the View Section > Save Section curves and sitting as Group), Now while editing the curves I need to create some Basic Curves manually which is going to sit in the `Non-timestamp Geometry'.
Is there any way to remove all Basic Curves rom `Non-timestamp Geometry' and make them as like generated Section curves.

While Mirroring / Copying `Copy with Reference Set'.
I am working with the Section curves for big assembly, now I need to take the section curves for circular cross section. Now I am deleting the lower portion of section curves. In Upper portion I am making the work like color for every part individually (Each part different color in section), making the reference sets.
After I am copying for Angle 180 degree (Mirroring) the curve to bottom portion with respect to center axis. After color is coming from top as updated, but every time I am manually working for Reference Set. Is there any option for this for copy with reference sets.

Selecting the section curves not selecting all.
I am working with the Section curves for big assembly, I am taking section curves by Ctrl+H View section (Which is created by using a Plane), if I try select the curves by mouse window in a plane then all curves are not selecting.
Now I am individually manually selecting and working. Is there is any way to avoid this issue.

Easy way required to find the curves overlap
I am working with the Section curves for big assembly, I am taking section curves by Ctrl+H View section and merging it now, is there any way to find the curve overlap. Currently I am selecting the curve > Right Click and by using `Select from List’ checking manually.
Is there any automated way to find the merged / overlapped curve (i.e., one curve partially or fully on another curve, place like a one is top and another is at bottom in screen).

How to use Filter Curves with Color Selection option for Deletion
I am working with the Section curves for big assembly, I am taking section curves by Ctrl+H View section. I need to select all the Curves with Color Red and need to delete them. I tried to use the Ctrl+J but if choosed Curves in `Type Filter’ and choosed color `Red’ in Color filter but I could not able to find how to delete that. If I pressed Ok in the Selection Ctrl+J dialog box then my selection is also gone, how to choose like this automatically, is there any option.

Hello, I'm noticing more after we "upgraded" to 12.0.1.7 that different drafting preferences for ordinate dimensions aren't staying default. I'm having to go in and reset my text orientation and sometimes other values. I never noticed this until now. Is this something that's just part of the bug ridden 12.0.1.7 or is this new to NX12?
Unfortunately, I've also noticed how useless the "infer" setting is for jog. It would almost seem like a funny joke if it wasn't related to my work. I'll have the "infer" set and then I'll be in the middle of adding dimensions. I will have two dimensions almost on top of each other, but the the new dimension will not jog. I'll then have another dimension jog for almost no reason and then I'll pan out and see that there's a dimension on the other side of the view that it's getting confused with. After this failed attempt, I'll then add another dimension that's almost on top of a previous one and the jog won't work again. Sometimes my tolerance of this almost comical behavior is not very good. Again, I hear that we can get out of the bug infested 12.0.1.7 sometime in Q2. It's been a long few months.

So something like from blank we could make with Drill_S1H a STEP1HOLE, from this path you could go to STEP2HOLE or STEP1POCKET etc.
In a kind of tree view? or something that could help me make this organisation?

I have some drawings, where I create a section in the 2D environment, and I show the view Label called Section A-A The view Label jumps after an undate.
For Example After this view gets created, I go in and make a slight modification to the part, for example change a fillet, I update the drawing and this View Label jumps location for no apparent reason what so ever. Does not happen all of the time, it is random, but I Keep getting drawings back with this Darn view lable jumping and overlapping dimension or other geometry.
Is there a setting to keep these view Labels from jumping all over the place.

I would like to know how to export a model along with imported Raster images.
I have created a reactangular block and imported 4 raster images to each side and exported the model to STP.
After opening the STP file, raster images were missing and will be greatful if anyone share their experience on how to solve this.

Hi NX community,
I have a problem in figuring out how to successfully add my custom template in the ugs_drawing_template.pax file.
I have followed the procedure of adding the template through Drafting>Mark as template>Mark as template and update PAX file and it works for the first time. As soon as I close and reopen my NX, it disappears again and I have to go through the process again.
2. If I want to add a sheet inside a drawing, I am unable to see my custom template in the list.
