Any clue when this will happen? ie is it worth going to NX12, if "NX Continuous Release" will be released shortly after?
Can we call it NX CR for short?

When creating a closed profile in the Sketch Task Environment using the Profile tool, after clicking the last point to close the profile the tool will continue to draw (annoyingly). I know I can use Esc or "right-click > Ok" to end it, but I was wondering if there was a quicker way (maybe a setting that resets the tool automatically after the profile is closed?). I can't see the benefit of the current behavior, so I'm guessing there must be a better way. Thanks!

Hallo
I want to scale a body which I imported as a stl file. It didn't work with the normal "scale body" function. Is there a possibility to do it? And if yes, could you please tell me step by step what I need to do since I just started working with NX.
Thank you already in advance

Hi, I am looking for a solution for our users to check the bend radius of a tube, please let me know if there is a way...
Hello people,
i've been searching for all day and i am little bit desperate about it.
Problem:
I made draft from assembly. Also some views and sections and i need that one part from assembly will have phantom lines in all views. I tried a lot of settings but nothing helps me. I have also changed object settings for that part but nothing happens. Still normal line there. Can anyone help me with this? I found that i can use edit object settings but don't work and don't know why... Thank you for your help
how can i use expression for scaling the model.
suppose i have one body which is to be scaled down or up depending on certain ratio.
I want to use expression for this so that my body remains parametric after parametric.
can anyone help me with this.
Hello,
When I create a new Drawing View with the "Create Base View" command, the UGMASTER is autmatically pre selected!
How can I configure the "Create Base View" command, to select the UGPART automatically instead of the UGMASTER?
Thanks,
Thomas
Currently, I have two parts that are linked together with expressions, and these are part of a larger assembly. As I move one of the parts, I want the other part to mirror the motion of the first part so that both are moving at the same time. However, when I move the first part some distance, the other part does not move at all until I click apply on the move dialog box. Then, the second part relocates to its new position. The same is true when I attempt to move the part within the assembly constraint dialog box. I am wondering if there is anyway for NX to mirror the motion in real time so you can see the second part move as you drag the first part.
Thanks in advance
Hi there,
Is there a way to take the View Scale instead Sheet Scale?
I've been using that syntax to take it:
SCALE <W@$SH_SHEET_SCALE_NUMERATOR>:<W@$SH_SHEET_SCALE_DENOMINATOR>
But all times that I place the view I need to edit Sheet Scale.

Hello All,
I have a question regarding Assembly Navigator. When selecting a part from the screen, the corresponding part highlights on the Assembly Navigator; however, the screen does not automatically scroll so you can see what part was selected. You have to do this manually.
I used Command Finder to search for "scroll" and found an entry under Assembly Navigator Properties that said "Defines properties for he Assembly Navigator window, such as automatic scrolling, font colors for the parent and child objects...." When I opened the dialog, I see nothing about automatic scrolling.
Is there a way to have Assembly Navigator automatically scroll (including expanding structure) to the part you select on the screen.

In playing video on this forum, the image would be blured upon pausing. Sometimes if you want to examine something closely, you would be driven crazy and forced to manage to download the video. It seems that some small tweaks would get it fixed.
Hello,
for a Student-Project we designed a Model of a sorting plant. It's running and connected to SIMIT and TIAv14.
While running our simulation we noticed that our guideline wants the conveyor running backwards or forwards on a klick on the HMI-Panel.
We tried negative speed but as its an unsigned integer it just sets the maximum speed.
We have to change the vector direction of the conveyor but it this possible via input parameters?
I'm thankfull for every answer
Regards,
Laura

Is it possible to edit an existing polygon using the Polygon dialog? I have an NX11 book I've been working through, and it says I should be able to double click the polygon constraint symbol at the center of polygon to open the Polygon dialgo for editing. But when I try that it doesn't work. So I'm wondering if that could be a mistake. Is it? Thanks.
