I'm running into an issue where I can't open NX (12.0.1.7) within the Teamcenter (11.5.0.2(20180727.00)) environment. The NX window pops up, stalls for a minute or two, and then crashes. I get the following error message:
Router Error The following error occurred: Failed to communicate with the other application
NX works flawlessly natively (outside of Teamcenter), and it has worked within Teamcenter as of November 12. I had accidentally left NX open overnight and had a coworker force shutdown my computer to free up the license (I was going to be out the following day). When I returned, I got the above error. Things I've tried doing:
- Restarted Teamcenter
- Restarted the computer
- Updated 3Dconnexion drivers (company admin suspected something here)
- Updated graphics drivers (restarting afterwards)
I probed the two syslogs in my AppData/Local/Temp directory (one from UGS Router, one apparently from NX).
The UGS Router log has a few errors in it starting on Line 27:

While the NX splash screen is open, I can watch the NX log balloon in size up to its current 47 MB. The errors start at Line 1649:

Severe Error 69 is the first one, but the INTERNAL ERROR in line 174 repeats itself 304 times.
