Hello,
When I try to open any of the Progressive Die Wizard (PDW) parts in NX11, it pops with a warning message as attached.
But if I open the same PDW part in NX9, I don't get the warning message.
Though it preserves the expression as it is, but fails to update in the expression UI.
Could you please let me know the reason for this behaviour?

There is one option from menu File >> Utilities >> Edit Work Part Header
There we can give description for the individual part and it shows status, creation date and time.
What is the significance of this status and description considering naive mode of NX and in context of Teamcenter intergration?
After I select the plane for sketching, I have to automatically select the orient the view to sketch command (Shift + F8) to make the view normal to the plane. Is there any option in NX 7.5 so that I can do it automatically?

in my company we use now NX9 going from NX75. The problem that I submit is the following:
when you insert a view in NX75, the view is taken, by default, by the drafting file part (see image), while the opposite occurs with NX9 (see image).
Is there a way to set the customer default so that NX9 acts like NX75?
While performing check mate on part we need to select the individual (Pre defined) checkers respective category like Modeling, Drafting etc.
Is there any way to export/extract the complete list of checkers?
Hi,
When working with dual monitor set up, I like to move some ribbon tabs to the second monitor. The problem is that after working for a while, and unexpectedly, the "Home" tab gets resized. I couldn't replicate the problem, because it happens when you perform some action or feature (like finishing a sketch) but not always.

I'm trying to figure out why everytime I save an nx file the windows properties of that file shows the creation date as the saved date. Thanks.
Edit: After some more testing it appears this may have something to do with our server. Local files don't do this. Only files that I'm saving elsewhere on the network.
Hi all,
how do I change the color of the edges in the "Wireframe with hidden edges" view to the color black? When I change the color of the object to black under View -> Edit Object Display I get grey edges instead of black ones.
I want to have black edges because they are more visible on screenshots when the background is white.

I'm getting a couple of errors while trying to update, I've run it multiple times, I get failed to extract to the filename on 2 files, the rest update OK
I am runnuing as administrator and I've checked to make sure I have write access
Its pretty straight forward how to reference list data from a spreadsheet in windows, but I have had no success to connecting to spreadsheets in Teamcenter. Does anyone have an example of how to have a NX expression reference a teamcenter spreadsheet?
I have made excel datasets under item revisions and even stand alone, but I can never seem to reference them.

I have two items (circled in red) in my drawing, that don't want to show im my parts list, and I'm confused as to why. They aren't marked "reference".
Thoughts? What else could be preventing them from being listed?

Merge the options "From Folder" and "From Search Folders".

HIGH, easier way to specify the locations for standard parts
Other information:
Currently it is only possible to include the dot folder in the search folders, but that needs NX to be started from the folder containing the assembly,
which is not feasible, since no one starts NX multiple times just to change the current working folder for the current assembly.BTW, I have found that adding the dot-folder is not reliable at all, so this is no solution.

We do have a structure folder structure to save NX part files separated by departments (shop floor, nc programming, design, etc.)
Sample folder structure:

The CAM and CNC departments are using the CAD parts as components through the master-model concept, so the search folder should contain the relative path "..\CAD", but that doesn't work currently.
"As Saved" doesn't work, since I have standard parts that are version specific, so I need search folders.
