Mechanical Routing - Automatic Path Creation

In Mechanical Routing, is there a way to have NX automatically generate a routing path between two ports that will avoid all of the solid objects in between?  I saw a YouTube video that suggests that the functionality existed back in NX6, but I went through all of the Learning advantage tutorals, and I didn't see any way to identify solid objects as a keep-out zone.  I'm currently using NX9.
