WAVE linking and restructuring assemblies - links break when drag-and-dropping part into new parent

Hi NX community,

I'm totally baffled by this WAVE linking behavior. 

When I try to drag-and-drop a bunch of parts into a new subassembly container, I lose all the wave links with parts that I am dragging into the new container. 

For example, I take the following assembly structure

and I drag 04_ISA and its child parts to 04_asm:

Now all of the wave links in the children of 04_ISA are broken.

How do I restructure an assembly without breaking all the wave links? This seems like a huge flaw in this module.
