If, working on a part in assembly context, you change the layers of features, this changes are only valid in that assembly. If you want those changes to be at the part level, you need to make the part visible and make them actually on part level.
I understand the usefulness of having different attributes values in assemby and part levels. But.
Is there a way to change this behaviour so assigning layers in assembly changes the part level value?
