I've seen a lot videos people have recorded on the forum and the quality looks fantastic. However, when I've tried recorded a video the quality is less than fantastic. It's good enough for a quick explanation for some problem or other, but now I would like to record a training video and it would be nice if I could get it looking better.
What settings do you use in NX to export the video? I've been using the default settings:
- Capture Area = NX Window
- Smoothness = 10 fps
- Compression = Microsoft Video 1 (This is the only option here)
- Speed = As recorded
I'm guessing that the Compression is the problem. I'm no Video Editing expert but I'm aware of video codecs, but not exactly how they play a part in recording the video.
Do I need to download a different codec? The documentation says NX will automatically detect these other video codecs if they are on the system:
- Microsoft MPEG4 Video Code V2
- Microsoft MPEG4 Video Code V1
- Microsoft MPEG4 V1
- Cinepak codec by Radius
If so, can anyone recommend where to get one or more of these from?
