White background behind annotations in drafting

Is there a way to have a white background behind the digits of an annotation?

I can't avoid putting some dimensions over the geometry in a drafting view, I would like them to have a small white background (like text box colour background in powerpoint) that covers the geometry so that they can be read more easily and not disappear in the background of the geometry. I'm on NX 12...
