Hello all,
I was hoping someone could shed some light on an issue I am running into.
Summary: Children are suppressed in arrangements of top level, displayed assembly. Assembly is closed, reopened, then RMB'd to select "Open>Assembly." After loading completes, some of the children are no longer suppressed.
More details: I have a top level assembly, call it A. It has children with children of their own. With the top level assembly set to displayed part, I select several cildren, RMB to select "Supression...," select the top level assembly, select the two arrangements I want the children suppressed in, and select "Always Suppressed." This is shown in the first image. I then save the top level assembly and all modified components before closing everything.
Next, I open the top level assembly, and expand the children to verify the correct children are still suppressed in the right top level assembly arrangements. This is shown in the second image.
Lastly, I RMB the top level assembly, and select "Open>Assembly," expecting only the unsuppressed components to load (partially or otherwise). Unfortunately, after loading is complete, I get what is shown in the third image; some of the children components (the same ones every time) are no longer suppressed and have loaded.
Can someone help me understand why the suppression state of the children components is resetting upon opening the assembly?
Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Alex
