In previous threads [1 2], taught that X-Form is in fact a "glorified edit", but not a real feature (in my understanding).
In my practice, I use X-Form to associate poles of a surface to a group of pre-defined points, as taught by in a previous thread. In this way the surface can be controlled directly and precisely.
The workflow seems to be threatened by the fact that X-Form is not a real feature. X-Form DOES build the associativities, but there seems to be no ways to monitor those associativities, which never show up in the Dependencies tab.
Hope to know how you veterans deal with the problem.

I noticed that NX have two old-styled commands, "From Poles" and "Through Points". They seems to be low-level, but highly flexible ways of building surfaces. Apparently they are to be retired. In my understanding their successors should be Four Point Surface + X-Form/I-Form. Is this correct?
Thank you!
