Mechatronics Concept Designer Time Delay

Hi All,

I am new here so sorry for the "not so clever” questions.

We have a pretty huge layout model and we want to create it in MCD. We already know that the model detail causes time delay but what it is exactly? How can I avoid that (best practice) if I have to work with large assemblies? And what  will be affected if I have a big time delay?
