I work on NX 12, but the problem occurs on the NX 11 too.
I have a strange problem with importing STEP files. I add, that I create new empty file for each STEP and I save it.
Namely, when I tried to import first STEP file, everything is OK, a subitem is created with the name "Model_Space".
When I tried to import the second STEP file, everything is OK too, another subitem is created, with the different name "Model_Space27". This names are always the same, does not matter from with Step file I begin.
The problem started, when I tried to import the third STEP file. NX create the subitem with the same name as the last part - "Model_Space27". It causes that the third part was not created, NX read the second part with the same name.
Does anyone know what is the source of the problem?
I add the sample foto what was it look like. It does not matter how I import the STEP files, it always look the same.
