Dear experts
I just startet to test (and play around with...
) the results of a laser scan with NX and the Reference Point cloud function. After some tests with different data formats it worked out pretty well.
But as I tried to display the point cloud in an assembly so that the reference point cloud was not part of the display part any more I didn't see anything of the point cloud.
So in short terms:
- If the point cloud is part of the display part - I can see the point cloud.
- If the point cloud is part of any component of an assembly I can't see the point cloud. It doesn't matter if the component is the assemblies work part or not.
I also tried to avoid the usuall traps with layer options and reference sets (the point cloud couldn't be add to a reference set) but none of it worked out.
Does anyone has an idea how to make this work or is this behavior maybe a kind of "hidden feature" which I don't understand?
