display degree/segment of selected curve/surface?

In Alias, they have a status box indicating the degree/spans of the selected curves or surfaces. The box can also be used to edit the values instantly.

 

I wonder whether there is any workaround to get similiar function in NX, without turning on Show Poles and Show Knots for each. Simply displaying the values instantly, without editting capability, is OK.
