Error when adding Non Structural mass to the Nastran simulation

I am getting the following error on NX10 Nastran when I apply a non-structural mass to a 2d surface:

ERROR : NSM(1) load/SSSO are not applied as a result of an incorrect selection

Any help would be awesome, thanks!
