NX with AutoCAD

This is quite an interesting requirement from one of my colleague. The description is as follows:

A 3D model is generated using Siemens NX and the drawing is created by importing the model in AutoCAD. Now the requirement is that, AutoCAD should be able to calculate the outer most dimensions or the stock size and display it in the title block; in order to avoid human error when typing it manually.

Is there any method to do so in AutoCAD?
