Hello all!
I need some suggestions to patch a corner (where edge blend isn't working).
This is what I am doing to get the surface patch:
- TOP GUIDE CURVE: Bridge curve for the top section curve (slighly offset from the original points).
- PRIMARY CURVE: Isoparametric curve for the immediate previous and next blend.
- BOTTOM GUIDE CURVE: Create some points (with the help of 'point on curve') and then create a 'curve on surface' (this is the actual time consuming section. I have to specify each of the points for the 'curve on surface', and for that, I have to go to point dialog box inside the curve on surface dialog, select existing point, and then select the previously created points. I dont even understand why it can't remember my selection of 'exisiting point' & goes back to inferred evertime.) This process itself takes so much time. I have to close and reopen the dialog box again and again for new points. Isn't it possible to just continuously specify the points? I'm probably asking for too much.
- Through curve mesh: To create the surface.
- Patch: To patch the surface.
Any suggestions, no matter how small, are welcome.
P.S. I know it's difficult with this explanation, so I'll upload an image.
EDIT 1: This is how the corner actually looks like. I hope you guys get the idea.
Regards
