I am making a fuselage and the problem is that i can not put the points from the scetch 1 to scetch 2. Picture better describe my problem. In Solidworks there is an option, called "pierce", is there the same one in NX or other option? Thank you for your answer

NX10.0 Pattern feture Error
Hello All,
Does anyone know what causes the error "UPDATE/DELETE has gone through too many iterations" in NX10.0 pattern feature method.
I'm trying to pattern, a set of features (In attachment), for 9 places /... It is thoughing me the above mentioned error.
Could you help what causes this error? and how to solve it ?

NX9: Identical mesh required on two faces of a cyclic model
All,
I have a 72 degree cyclic model of a disc (simplified illustration attached). I need the mesh to be identical the highlighted faces, with the nodes in identical positions, similar to what is achieved through mesh mating. I am however struggling to work out how to achieve this. I am running NX9. Can anyone help?

NX 7.5 - Replace Component in Drawing
Its been 13 years since using NX.
Been using SolidWorks.
I was sent a model and a drawing that were emailed out of TeamCenter.
Both files are now saved to a local folder.
When I open the drawing, it errors that it cannot locate the model that is now listed as a long, wierd file name.
Right clicking on the missing model only shows these options.
There isn't a Replace Component
.
I have also tried renaming the model to the wierd file name, but still get same error when opening drawing.

Part families: a problem with name of material by russian in part families
I'm having a problem with name of material in part families.
When I use the name of material in russian then the whole name's word is writing by CURSIVE letters.
In spreadsheet = "Сталь"
In attribute of instance part familie = "СТАЛЬ"
NX10, NX11 standalone.

How to turn on Custom Symbols
Seems to me way back in 7.5 I received some GTAC assistance to turn custom drafting symbols on.
I believe there are a bunch of OOTB symbol's stashed
I'm in 11.0.1 now, Does anyone know how to turn these on?
I think it is done in library management, but where are they stashed?

Licensing error
Hey all.
I am having some licensing error when I work in NX.
This error message usually only happens when i switch between drawing and modelling mode, so when i am staying in 1 mode the error dont occour.
The error could occour from just 10 minutes of working or upto 1 hour, this dont depend on how many times i switch mode. Sometimes it can occour the first time I'm switching. I then have to restart my NX to get everything to work properly again.
I had my IT CAD support at my company looking into it, but when we tried to recreate the error it would not occour.
I have added screenshots of the error messages.

Install NX on much seat
Hi,
we are planning to install NX11 on over 40 seat. I'm come as SolidWorks CAD Manager where I install SolidWorks on a server as administrative image and a script is generated automatically sent as HTML on e-mail process. Each update was made on the administrative image and each seat on the first starts, it's notified to an update. User decide if update or not.
In the administrative install exist a tool that monitoring each seat on the release installed.
Saying that, what do you suggest me to simulate the same and if you have some examples to use ?

Examine Geometry - Data Structures Fail
Hi,
I am passing all the examine geometry tests but the "Data structures", where I get the following error:
The object data structure is corrupt
Please undo last operation and check again
Undoing fixes nothing, but I do not know how severe is the error or how could I fix it.
Any suggestion? What can cause this error? The documentation of "Data structures in Examine geometry" is quite brief.
Data StructuresThis function checks each selected body for data structure problems, such as corruption. The results are reported in the Information window. To highlight the invalid bodies in the graphics window, click the Data Structures option on the Highlight Results dialog.
Note: Any data structure error is cause for concern. The offending entities should be closely examine, then either repaired or deleted and reconstructed.

Problem with NX 11 interface
Hi everyone,
I'm having some trouble with the NX interface and I dont know how to fix it. It's a very simple issue.
The thing is that I can't read the NX version or module or the filename that normally appear on the top bar.
Is there anyway to solve this issue? I'm working with NX 11.0.1.11 MP3.

How to link the expression values through Text Properties>Reference Text.
When I use “Measure Distance” with Associative=ON; then the value appears in expression and as well as in Part Navigator.
Now I would like to use “Text” command and link the above value through Text Properties>Reference Text to create extruded text.
The idea is to show the instance of a cylinder-piston stroke as they been adjusted.

hi Community,
in nx 9.0 i have the material library no i want to create a new material by changing some of the properties of already existed material in nx material library..but i did in one way like i copied the material from library then it is showning in local materials so from there i am able to change the properties whatever i want but after closing the file the and i am going to apply to a another file that material is not there..
